Tanzania's attempts to improve investment, business environment hit sky-high success

Tanzania's business, industrial, and investment environment is starting to improve as a result of initiatives carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and its affiliated agencies.

 

During a meeting in Dodoma to evaluate the execution of initiatives by the Ministry of Industry and Trade through its institutions, Deodatus Mwanyika, the Chairperson of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Industry, Trade, Agriculture, and Livestock, made the statements.

 

According to Mwanyika, the committee was pleased with the steps being made to improve the nation's business climate by the Ministry and its organizations, such as the Business Registrations and Licensing Agency (BRELA) and the Fair Competition Commission (FCC).

 

He emphasized the need to keep enhancing services offered to companies and investors in order to lower obstacles that can impede economic activity, while also stating that the steps were crucial for boosting production and drawing in investment.

 

The committee is pleased with the steps the Ministry and its organizations are doing to enhance the business climate. In order to boost investment and output in the nation, it is critical that these initiatives continue, according to Mwanyika.

 

Judith Kapinga, the Minister of Industry and Trade, stated that the Ministry had received the committee's directions and recommendations and will implement them to improve service delivery and boost productivity in the trade and industrial sectors.

 

According to her, collaboration between the Ministry, its institutions, and Parliament was crucial to guaranteeing that the policies and initiatives being put into place continued to produce outcomes intended to increase the nation's output, commerce, and investment.
